What counts as an assessment?
One call to the /v1/assess endpoint — one AI output scored, routed, and logged against your active policy.
What happens when I hit the Starter or Growth limit?
Assessments are paused until the next billing cycle. The API returns HTTP 402 with a clear error so your integration can handle it gracefully. No data is lost.
How does Scale billing work?
You pay $799/month upfront, which includes 500,000 assessments. Usage beyond that is billed at $0.004 per assessment, invoiced monthly. Your integration is never hard-blocked on Scale.
How does annual billing work?
Annual plans are billed upfront for 12 months and save you 20% versus monthly. Growth annual is $2,868/year ($239/mo equivalent). Scale annual is $7,668/year ($639/mo equivalent). You can switch between monthly and annual at your next renewal.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. Plan changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Unused included assessments do not roll over.

What features are locked to higher plans?
Digest email and decision replay unlock on Growth. Scheduled compliance exports (CSV/JSON, HIPAA/SEC profiles) unlock on Scale. Analytics history expands from 7 days on Starter up to 365 days on Enterprise. Batch assess is capped at 20 items on Growth and 50 on Scale/Enterprise — it is not available on Starter.
Is there a healthcare or legal-specific plan?
Healthcare and Legal policy templates are available on all plans. Enterprise adds HIPAA BAA, audit trail exports formatted for compliance teams, and dedicated onboarding.
